YellowStone 2011

We went to Yellowstone last sunday with my mom, Brie, and Stockton. It was a kinda long drive, but it was lots of fun, and I think Nike enjoyed it, I can't wait to go back next year when Nike is a little older so he can see it more, but he will not be getting out of the stroller cause I don't want to risk him falling in that hot water! haah I had to nurse Nike on the way there, so when everyone else went in to get food for our picnic me and Nike stayed in the car, and had fun taking pictures.

First we stopped and saw some random geysers, and just walked around and I thought it would be fun to speak only piglatin, just to see what weird looks I would get, I didn't get too many.
But everything was sooo pretty, and I loved all of the colors everywhere.

 This one is my favorite, I wanted to jump in and swim soo bad, the water was soo pretty and blue, to bad its beyond hott. Boo to that.

Then we went and watched old faithful, it was cool like always, but waiting feels like it takes forever.

We Saw buffalo two different times, once it was just off on the side of the road, but the one we saw on the way back home was just walking in the incoming traffic lane, just taking its sweet time and wagging his tail, its crazy how big they are when you are right next to one. They were amazing.

August 19th weekend

We had a fun busy weekend, Chelsea's visit, Brie's first soccer game, Demi's wedding, my birthday, and Josh's visit.

Thursday Chelsea came down to see us, sense she had to work on my birthday but she still wanted to come down and see Nike & I. So we just hung out for a few hours, and made us some birthday cupcakes, they were very yummy! No pictures though, which is weird for us, cause we are always taking pictures!

Friday was my birthday, we went to Demi's pre-wedding breakfast, and I didnt get the memo that you are supposed to wear a dress, so I was the only one not wearing a dress. FAIL. But other than that it was really fun to see everyone, and too see how cute Demi & Jeff f are together! Nike wore his Red sox bib just for Demi on her special day!

After that was over we went to watch brie's first soccer game, I was really suprised by how good Nike was being outside in the wind for that long, he loved it, he was smiling and talking about it the whole time!

Demi married Jeff F on my birthday, we went to their reception, it was beautiful! Demi looked amazing, so did Jeff F of course! It was good too see all the family. My cousin skylar who is Demi's older brother sang while Demi and Jeff had their first dance, he did an amazing job, it was so sweet! So now I told josh that he has to sing at my wedding! haha. Maybe it's a girl thing, but after seeing that I just wanted to get married! Cause it was soo beautiful and perfect! My favorite part was dancing with Nike, he was the best dance partner ever! (:

Josh came up for the weekend, and him and Nike got to hang out, they love each other! They are super sweet together, and it was really good to see Josh, and I was really glad that he was able to make it up, we don't get to see him that often, so when we do it's always fun, we miss him lots!

Josh loved holding him, until he cried, then he would give him right back to momma! haha, but they loved snuggling, and I caught them when they were both asleep!

Josh was poking his nose, and he thought it was soo funny, and was giving us his big smiles that I love so much!

1 month already!

Nike is already one month old, I can't believe how fast it has gone by. He is growing so much, he is already grown out of most of his new born clothes, and new born diapers are too small.

He is so awake and alert these days, its so much fun. We go on walks every morning, he loves just looking around and just sits there and talks to himself the whole time. It's adorable.

We went to bear lake a couple weekends ago, he did pretty good, and it was really good to see all my family! I am excited for next year when he can actually play, and he will have his cousins Sawyer, Miyah, Afton, and Claira that are all about the same age, so it will be tons of fun! We are heading to Utah this weekend to visit with my Utah family and friends, I am really excited to show off my cute little guy!

One of Nikes favorite things is taking baths, he loves it! So I give him one every day even though they say you only need to every other night, but its one of my favorite things.

The other day I was singing Katy Perry's Califonia girls, and Nike started laughing and dancing. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen, I am pretty sure he was just laughing at my bad singing (:
